Tile Tattoos are a clever, affordable, waterproof solution for kitchen and bath makeovers. In 4 easy steps Tile Tattoos can transform a room!

1. Spray water on pre-cleaned, smooth tiles.
2. Remove Tile Tattoo backing and spray Tile Tattoo with water.
3. Place and press Tile Tattoo on the tile.
4. Smooth Tile Tattoo onto tile surface and push out any water bubbles with a credit card.

Voila!

Tile Tattoo Installation Tips

• Don’t try to cover every tile: Create a simple pattern by adding Tile Tattoos to a handful of strategic tiles (as shown in video).
• Use Tile Tattoos that complement your existing décor: Try taupe or black and white designs in a room already full of print, pattern, or other colors. Tile Tattoos with a clear backing are perfect for color tiles.

Ms. Martin chose one of my favorite designs—black Loverstone—for a bathroom pick-me up. And green Ventor was her choice for the kitchen. As she demonstrates, a few tats go a long way so it’s even simpler than you may think to enhance the look of your tilework.

The tub is quite nice, especially with the fire place to warm whatever the water doesn't.

Mibo Tile Tattoo Redo is a post from: 2Jane

First up is Madeleine Rogers of Mibo. She’s a former lighting/set designer who saw a need in the market for the fun and whimsy of printed lamp shades. Nearly 10 years ago she was the first to introduce the now ubiquitous mod patterns to the market!

Luckily she was able to expand her collection, and it’s blossomed into a complete collection of home accessories that include pillow covers, wallpaper, and one of the best products ever—Tile Tattoos!

Here’s a peek at her life in Brighton on Southeast English coast about 45 minutes South of London.

Seeing the Light: The Mibo brand began when Madeleine Rogers designed her first printed lamp shade. Here's a wall, showcasing her collection, in her Brighton UK studio.

Madeleine Rogers of Mibo enjoys the stylings of '60s & '70s homewares as evidence by this shot of her kitchen decor.

Of the many unique design items Madeleine owns, this bird lamp is a personal favorite. Perhaps it's the muse for her famous Clacket Lane print.

And what Mibo accessories does Madeleine choose for her flat? Looks like a custom color of the Selsey shade and a Lulworth pillow in eggplant!

2JANE Visits Mibo in her Brighton Studio & Home is a post from: 2Jane

I hope you all have plans for a firework-filled weekend! I’ll be celebrating with friends hoping to catch Wimbledon as I cheer the All-American women’s final on Saturday. Go Williams Sisters & Go Red, White, & Blue! It doesn’t matter who wins, although this is definitely Venus’s home field, I just enjoy witnessing the history these two Cali girls are making on the green grass of England.

As for the men’s final on Sunday, I can’t imagine anything being as good as last year’s final between Federer and the currently injured Nadal, arguably one of the best matches every played in the sport. But seeing the class act that is Roger Federer take another title is always a pleasure!

Whatever you do this weekend, enjoy yourselves.
